Our Annual Christmas 7s took place today in blustery conditions in Wolfe Tone Park. It was a great success. With numerous teams taken part.

Thanks to our officials for the day, referees Francis Quill and Tommy along with various ball boys inc Sean Walsh and Shay O’Donovan.

Thanks to Joe & Ann Coakley for organising and running the always entertaining obstacle course. Thank also to David Shields for lending some materials for the obstacle course.

Our hang tough competition was successfully managed by Daniel Sheehan.

Sandwiches supplied be the Quays bar and served up by Christine O’Donovan and Caroline Hodnett.

Without the great facilities we wouldn’t be able to have a day like today, thanks to the development and pitch committees.

Our 7s football is a Healthy Club initiative that encourages players to participate for enjoyment during Christmas.

The money from today will be donated to a local charity as it is every year.
