REBELS BOUNTY CLUBS DRAW - What it means to Bantry Blues GAA, Juveniles, Ladies & Adult Teams
Over the last number of years the vast majority of our fundraising has come through the Cork Clubs Draw, “REBELS BOUNTY”. We have invested €900,000 at our grounds in Wolfe Tone Park.
ASTRO TURF FACILITY
- we constructed our super Astro Turf pitch which enables our young boys & girls access to playing facilities even when the weather is poor.No more cancelling trainings due to bad weather causing unplayable pitches. Our Astro Facility is fully lit and allows players train on winter nights . The Astro is also available for use by local schools & other groups in the community . This has been possible thanks to the funds raised by the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW
WALKWAY:
We recently developed a walkway on the perimeter of 3 sides of our main pitch ( to be completed at later development phase). The walkway has a very flat surface, which makes it suitable for all ages. A fantastic facility that can be enjoyed by young and old in our community. This has been possible thanks to the funds raised by the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW
GAA Gym :
A purpose built Gym facility was installed in our Clubhouse, which is excellently equipped with free weights & racks. This facility is used by lots of our teams in strength and conditioning development . This has been possible thanks to the funds raised by the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW
Equipment Storage Facility: As the demands on maintenance rise with the redevelopment of our pitches, extra equipment and machinery is required and all this has to be stored in a safe and secure environment. This has been possible thanks to the funds raised by the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW
MAIN PITCH REDEVELOPMENT:
This development project has been our biggest yet, lateral drainage & resurfacing of our main pitch as well as increasing it to maximum playing size with two concrete dugouts along with installing a boundary fence around the pitch perimeter. This pitch is of a very high standard, playable all year round. This has been possible thanks to the funds raised by the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW
SECOND PITCH REDEVELOPMENT :
Formally referred to as our training pitch, this has been extended to match size having acquired some ground area from our good neighbours. This pitch was also latterly drained & resurfaced and two large dugouts added, along with boundary fencing to neighbouring properties and retaining wall.
None of this could have been possible without the support and funding we have received from the REBELS BOUNTY DRAW

With fantastic prizes on offer each month ( 30 cash prizes per month , with a minimum monthly 1st prize of €20,000 and a massive €100,000 in December)
360 PRIZES throughout the year with a total prize fund of €500,000
Plus we also have an internal CLUB DRAW for all REBELS BOUNTY entrants in December
