Our u12 Girls got their league campaign off to a great start with an away win over Rosscarbery yesterday evening.

Our girls started brightly and some nice forward play saw them go 2 goals up in the first ten minutes Rosscarbery started to grow in confidence and were soon back into this game and with both sides evenly matched our girls went in at half time leading on a scoreline of 2.4 to 0.3.

The second half was just as competitive with both sides playing some great football.

Rosscarbery were now on the up but our young Blues were up to the task.With some great team work and excellent defending Bantry came out on top of what was a great game of football winning on a scoreline of 2.8 to 1.7.

Well done to all the girls on a great game.
