The Carbery Board have decided to run the U21 Football Championship as a straight knockout competition as several U19 and Junior hurling championships championship running late, deteriorating weather and pitches being closed for remedial work, it would not be possible to run off the under 21 football championship in its present round robin format.

The Competition was redrawn tonight at St. Mary's GAA Pavilion, Enniskeane,
