Our U17 footballers travelled to Ballincollig on Fri 9th to play the semi final of the P1 Challenge Cup.

These lads have had some tough results this season, but as the sun set in Ballincollig the young Blues gave a performance to be remembered, they trailed by 4 points at half time in a very tight affair as alot of the game was played in the middle third.

The second half took off at a blistering pace with both teams trading goals, with 5 minutes to go our lads were behind by a single goal and looked like getting it until Ballincollig turned it over and went up the other end to get a goal of their own. This was a fantastic team performance by all 18 players on the panel, well done lads ye did us proud, we look forward to seeing ye in action for years to come.
