An Amble with Alice for Jack & Jill
The Bantry Blues family has always stood shoulder to shoulder when it matters most. This Christmas, we are asking you to do just that again — with hearts full and walking boots on.
On Sunday, December 28th at 2pm, we invite you to join us for a very special 6km walk through the breathtaking Killarney National Park, starting and finishing at Tigh Mary Donals, where hot drinks and light refreshments will be waiting for everyone.
This walk is being lovingly organised by Susan Gleeson, sister of one of our own — Brian Gleeson: Bantry Blues player, coach, tireless fundraiser — and his wife Jessica a player, who proudly represented the Blues at every level, including the 2015 Ladies All-Ireland Club Final.
At the heart of this walk is Alice — Brian & Jessica’s beautiful daughter.
Because of Alice’s medical needs, the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation has been a lifeline to the Gleeson family, providing care, support and comfort when it was needed most. Anyone who knows Jack & Jill knows the quiet, powerful difference they make to families across Ireland — and this family is one of our own.
Every cent raised through An Amble with Alice for Jack & Jill will go directly to this incredible charity, helping them continue to support children like Alice and families like Brian & Jessica’s.
We would love for you to:
