On Saturday night last Bantry Blues U21s held a Table Quiz in aid of WEST CORK RAPID RESPONSE ( #WCRR ) in the Maritime Hotel followed by a presentation of medals for their West Cork U21A Football Championship victory.

The quizmaster, Richard SalterTownsend had a great mix of questions for the participants from sports, politics, geography, politics & general knowledge with some challenging questions thrown into the mix. Going into the last round there was only a point between first ( Bright but Useless) & second ( Rally Alan A). In the end “Bright but Useless” team of Patrick OMahony, John Harrington & Timmy OMahony claimed victory with a very strong final round over “Rally Alan A” team of John Crowley, Tadhg, Conor & Conn.

Also to add to the funds collected from quiz entry fees, a raffle took place with prizes supplied by@O Keeffe's Supervalu Bantry, The Brick Oven ,   JJ Crowleys Bar & several prizes donated privately

On the night €1030 was raised for West Cork Rapid Response
