Bantry Blues held their end of year Juvenile Awards night on Friday night last with our #futurestars presented with their medals for 2024 at a full house in the Maritime Hotel.
The night was MC’d by Juvenile Club Chair Conor Cronin & Ladies Chair Mike Russell with medals presented by club senior players . The boys were presented their medals by Eoghan Minehane & Shane Keevers , while the girls received their medals from Eve Murphy & Rachel Murphy
Thanks to all the mentors who have given so much time to these young players in their athletic development & a big thank you to all the parents who help out with teams.
The 2025 season will commence in the spring for these young athletes when they will move up a year where further development occurs

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
Bantry Blues plan to continue facilities development in Wolfe Tone Park with the installation of Floodlights which will allow training & games in the spring & autumn when evenings are short.
This project is estimated to cost €200,000.
The Club have secured a Sports Capital Grant of €72,000 and have c. €30,000 Development fund. The shortfall of c. €100,000 will have to be raised through fundraising.
