Our Gaelic4Mothers&Others squad travelled to Rath, Balts this evening to play Ilen Rovers in what was a well contested and very enjoyable game of football. This was the second outing of the season for the girls in blue following on from a very successful blitz which was held for the Rising Tide festival back in March. Both teams played some lovely football with scores coming thick and fast as the girls in blue put in a tremendous effort throughout the game. A massive thanks to Ilen Rovers for hosting and for the refreshments afterwards which were greatly appreciated.Bantry Blues Gaelic4Mothers&Others initiative sees women playing Ladies Gaelic Football in a fun, non-competitive and social environment. Gaelic4Mothers&Others provides an opportunity for women to get their recommended weekly exercise in a fun way while meeting other women in the area. New members are always welcome.
