U16 Footballers Reach County Final!
https://colaistepobailbheanntrai.ie/u16-boys-gaelic-footballers-reach-county-final/

Congrats to our u16 Boys football team who yesterday defeated Coachford College in the county semi-final. Played in Clonakilty, it was Coachford who settled the quickest. However goals from Dan Joe O’Neill & Oisin Murphy kept Bantry in touch, with Oisin Daly & Christopher O’Shea also impressing. Coachford held a 2-6 to 2-3 lead at half-time. CPB came out a determined side in the 2nd half with dominant performances from Conor Young & Adam Gilman-Burke in particular and DJ O’Brien being a constant threat to the Coachford defence. CPB ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-10. Our boys now await the winners of the other semi-final between DLS Macroom & Mitchelstown CBS, with this team eager to match the Seniors team County success last month! Well done to all involved.

First-Year Football Blitz Concludes Season in Dunmanway

On Wednesday, CPB’s first-year boys Gaelic football team participated in an exciting blitz in Dunmanway. The event featured matches against Schull, Skibbereen, and the host team Dunmanway.

The boys demonstrated great teamwork and resilience throughout the games, despite facing tough opposition.

After an action-packed morning, the team reflected on a rewarding season of football. It was a memorable day for all involved.

Special thanks to Dunmanway for hosting a fantastic event for the U14s. Their efforts ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

As the season ends, CPB looks forward to building on this year’s successes and continuing to foster a love for the game among its players.
