The 2024 season kicks off where the 2023 Season concluded for our young adult players with the U21 Championship reverting to the much preferred start of the season.

Having had a successful 2023 at U21 level, winning out the CLONA MILK CARBERY GAA West Cork U21B Championship last November, this years eligible players regrouped over the last few weeks in preparation for the newly configured Championship structure.

In 2024, the County Board have allocated 3 days in Feb, which this competition must be played over and concluded. This leaves a straight knockout structure for groups of eight .

There were seven teams entered/graded in the A Section , Bantry Blues, Bandon, Castlehaven, Carbery Rangers, Clonakilty, Ibane Gaels & Newcestown

The Blues travel to Dunmanway on Sunday to take on Clonakilty who had a narrow victory over Dohneys last weekend. With a CHAMPIONSHIP game under their belt, the boys from the brewery town will be favourites, but hopefully with plenty support behind our lads they book a place in this years West Cork Final
