Bantry Blues held their annual Awards night on Fri last in the Maritime Hotel. As always this is a big occasion for our #futurestars. This year the Boys & Girls Juvenile Club came together to have a joint Awards night, which turned out to be a great decision, as there was a fantastic atmosphere with all the excitement of the young players and their proud parents.

Chairs of our Juvenile Club, Conor Cronin & Ladies Club Mike Russell gave a brief introduction and quick review of the year and thanked all the parents for getting their kids to trainings, blitzs & games, as well as encouraging them to practice at home. They also thanked all the coaches who put in so much time in developing these #futurestars .Acknowledgement was also made of our super Juvenile Sponsors : #MURRAYBROSPAINTERS who sponsor our U7 to U12 boys, Bantry Bath and Tile Ltd who sponsor our U8 to U18 Ladies & to O Keeffes Supervalu Bantry who sponsor our U13 to U18 Boys

The successful Ladies U14 & Boys U15 County Champions were also presented to the crowd and their wonderful achievements in 2023 acknowledged. We would like to thank the award presenters from our Clubs Adult teams , Arthur Coakley & Caitlin OMahony and all those behind the scenes who made sure that this was a very enjoyable evening. A big thank you to Elaine Courtney & Karen Deasy for decorating the venue ( The Maritime Hotel Bantry, West Cork, Ireland ) and putting the slide show together.
