Well done to St Finbarrs Boys National School Sciath na Scol hurling team who had a great day out on Friday Last . The boys played 3 matches against Dunmanway, Newcestown and Clonakilty. Against these talented teams the boys acquitted themselves very well.

Hurling is not finished yet though. Students from 4th-6th who play for Bantry or St Colums are invited to play hurling on Friday evenings from 3:15-4:30pm in Bantry or St Colums pitch. This will begin after the midterm.
This is a brilliant initiative by the National Schools of the Parish We’re hoping this will be a fun way of growing the game of hurling and camogie in the Bantry area.
