Bantry Blues U15 Footballers recently competed in the ILEN ROVERS Denis Crowley Memorial Competition, which was played between four teams, hosts Ilen Rovers, Tadhg na Gael ( Tadhg McCartaighs / Clann na Gael ) & Ahinagh. The semi final pairings were Ilen Rovers V V Ahinagh & Bantry Blues V Tadhg na Gael. The winners Bantry Blues and hosts Ilen Rovers met in the final on and wet and windy evening in Church Cross where the young blues, fresh from their West Cork semi final Championship win the previous week were still full of fire and put in an excellent performance to come out on top.
