Our under 13 hurlers made the long trip to Kilmichael on Friday evening to pay Western Gaels (Uibh Laoire and Kilmichael) in a Rebel Óg West league fixture. In a game that had everything, both sides went toe to toe with the lead exchanging hands throughout, the young blues were undone by a late Western Gaels goal. The lads thought they had won the game at the death with a late free but the ref and umpire deemed the ball didn’t fully cross the line.
