Not to be in Tralee for Cork U17s as Kerry triumph
On a night when Cork controlled much of the game, it was Kerry who punished by rattling the net which proved to be the difference on the night.Dara Sheedy scored 3 points , even though he was well marked, with his man touch tight throughout,
At the break the home team were 3 points to the good (2-04 V 0-07) even though the were playing into a stiff breeze, but 2 goals against the run of play gave them the interval lead. After the break, Cork came out firing with total domination but failed to punish with certain goal flying off the crossbar. Kerry didn't raise any flags until the 16th minute of the half and from there came back into the game and the rebels never recovered dominance.
