Return To Play (Covid 19) 2020-06-28 15:33:00

As you are all aware, with the lifting of the Covid restrictions the GAA is now allowed to return to  training and games. With this in mind, Croke Park have issued protocols to allow GAA members to return to training and gamesin the safest possible manner.


The safety of our members is first and foremost and this is where you as players, parents/guardians and coaches come in. 


The following must be carried out before we can get back on the training pitches or back to games. 

  1. GAA e-learning needs to be completed online by each player, coach and parent/guardian  [ https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/ ] and certificate of completion obtained & forwarded to each Team Covid Supervisor 

  1. GAA Online Health Questionnaire [ http://returntoplay.gaa.ie] must be completed by each player or  parents /guardians for all players U18 

  1. Player must be Registered for 2020 with Croke Park  ( Membership paid) 

 

Each panel will receive WhatApp message from team management with the email links you will need to access the ELearning Module & Health Questionnaire. 

 

DAY OF TRAINING 

 2 to 3 Hours prior to training  -Reconfirm Health Status on Health Questionnaire  


UPON ARRIVAL FOR TRAINING 


  • Once you arrive at Wolfe Tone Park, for training/games, we ask that you adhere to all signage and policies that will be in place. 
  • Players to arrive fully togged out and no sharing of waterbottles, gloves etc 
  • Parents who remain onsite are required to observe Social Distancing guidelines (lead by example) 
  • Dressing Rooms will remain locked 
  • Players will go to pitch entrance area (Social Distance rules apply) where the Teams Covid Supervisor HiViz Vest) will log players attendance & confirm player Health Status via App 
  • Toilets will be locked, with access only via Covid Supervisor  
  • Each Team will have their own designated training area to limit contact when their is more than one team training 
  • All Players & Mentors are required to sanitize before & after session at sanitation points at entry & exit of pitch. 
  • All equipment such as balls & cones will be disinfected after each session,  


As you are all fully aware, we are an amateur organization and we can only put Best Practice Procedures in place with everyone’s co-operation.
