Bantry Camogie ClubThe Bantry Camogie Club was launched on 29th May 2008 for under 12's, under 14's and under 16's. The Bantry Camogie club is very grateful to Bantry Blues, Bantry Bord na nóg and Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael for their help and support and to the children and parents for their encouragement in this new venture. Over 50 girls registered for the Bantry Camogie Club in 2008. Training concentrated on giving these girls some skills in the game of camogie and in making them familiar with the rules of the game. No matches were played in 2008 but we hope to organise some local matches within the Carbery division in 2009. Attached is a picture taken on the 1st night of training. Included in the picture are coaches John Reynolds, Miriam Fullam and Ann O’Mahony.
