BREAKING NEWS -

Ger OBrien and his good pal Andrew Desmond made it to the top of Mont Blanc in the Alps Both with the flags of their GAA clubs in Bantry Parish.

Having put in months of preparation, the lads reached the summit of the highest mountain in Western Europe , with Ger proudly hoisting the Bantry Blues flag , while Andrew flew the St Colums flag

This is another marvellous achievement for the lads having previously scaled Mount Kilamanjaro.

Well done lads and safe travels home!
